After a pretty abominable Round 11, I’m hoping I can bounce back with the full round this weekend.

The big game for me is tonight’s Eels vs Broncos clash. Parra and Brisbane nearly always make their games a fierce battle, and I’m expecting tonight to be the same. I’m sticking with my heart and backing Parra, but it will definitely be a big challenge for them knocking off the Broncos at home. I’m hoping the bye week was a good chance for some soul searching by Parra – it’s been a very disappointing start to the season considering how close they came against the Storm at the end of last year.

I did however pick against my adopted Panthers team beating the Cowboys because I think new coach Ian Millward will give the Cowboys a much needed psychological reboot. It will be fascinating to see if Russell Crowe’s appearance at the Bunnies-Dragons game will have a similar effect.
