Had the pleasure of finally watching the Pearl Jam MTV Unplugged DVD that comes with the deluxe edition of the remastered ‘Ten’ yesterday. This was my favourite of the tracks, the evening’s closer and definitely the most soulful performance of the show (even despite Eddie falling off his chair). I highly recommend the ‘Ten’ Redux package, a great reminder of that particular time in music and the seeds of lyrical and musical brilliance that sprouted into the best rock band in the world.
