I’m pretty sure I won’t be racing out to see ‘G.I. Joe’ anytime soon (though it might be a good guilty pleasure DVD laugher down the track), mainly because I think the acting in this trailer will probably be on par with the film itself:

Had the absolute pleasure of seeing Doves perform at the Metro last Thursday night. The songs from their latest album, ‘Kingdom of Rust’ had a particular energy at the Metro show. This title track in particular was excellent.

Saturday Night was a great opportunity to rewatch the quintessential 90s popcorn action flick ‘Point Break’, which is ridiculously watchable. Had a great time hanging out with Johnny Utah and Bodhi again. In honour of their exploits, I bring you this great ‘homage’ from the clever guys of Human Giant and Reno 911:
