I can’t embed the clip unfortunately, but I still had to make Pearl Jam’s ‘The Fixer’ my song of the moment.

I hadn’t watched the video until last week, which is an egregious sin for someone who calls himself a PJ diehard. Seconds into it I found myself impressed with the energy captured by the clip and the obvious joy flowing from each member of the band. I wondered whether or not director Cameron Crowe, a longtime Pearl Jam friend, might have had a hand in it and sure enough, he’s the man behind the clip.

If you don’t already think Eddie Vedder is one of the best frontmen in the world of music, this video should convince you. His conviction is total, his passion evident, his energy palpable.
