The goofy premise of this film really struck me as fertile comedy ground, particularly for a cast as comedically talented as John Cusack, Rob Cordry, Craig Robinson and Clark Duke. But this trailer really really sucks balls.

I mean judging by the trailer, shouldn’t this movie be called “Guys Standing In A Room Talking About A Hot Tub Time Machine”.

Some online pundits have already taken to labelling this as ‘The Hangover’ of 2010. Going by this early glimpse, I would be stunned if it was even close (and I consider ‘The Hangover’ far from a classic comedy). For now I’ll just hope the marketing team butchered the trailer.
